This is the anniversary edition of a popular tabletop game for both children and adults. Develop your civilization—its military, science, culture, and economy. Will your constructed wonder of the world bring eternal glory to your empire? Each game is equally exciting and perfectly balanced, no matter the number of players—making it an ideal family board game.

Over the course of three game phases—three distinct ages—players try to construct as many valuable buildings as possible, and ideally complete their entire wonder of the world. Each age consists of six turns, in which players secretly choose one card from their hand. These cards represent buildings that, once constructed, provide various benefits—money, resources for further construction, military strength, better trading with neighbors, or other strategic advantages.

Instead of a building, a player can also construct a stage of their wonder, which offers powerful bonuses. Thanks to the variety of cards and tactics, this game is among the best logic-based games that develop strategic thinking.

Once all players have played a card, the remaining cards are passed to the next player, and the game continues. After all three ages are completed, players tally their points—whoever has the most wins. Points come from various elements—completed buildings, wonder stages, military victories, scientific progress, and even the amount of wealth accumulated in a player's treasury.
