A fast-paced and insanely fun card game based on Russian roulette principles
Exploding Kittens is a strategic version of Russian roulette (but with kittens). Players draw cards until someone draws an exploding kitten – they explode, die, and are out of the game. But only if they don’t have a “Defuse” card, which lets them defuse the kitten – for example, with a laser pointer, a belly rub, or a catnip sandwich. The goal of all the other cards in the deck is to help players avoid the exploding kittens (or trick others into drawing them).

Funny illustrations with even funnier captions will keep you laughing and totally immersed in the game – you’ll want to play again and again. Every card is unique. The rules are very simple and can be explained in just a few seconds.

A bit of history
Exploding Kittens is the most-backed game in Kickstarter history. Created by Elan Lee (XBOX, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (XBOX, Marvel), the game made Kickstarter history in 2015 when over 219,000 backers supported the project. As of 2023, more than 25 million copies of Exploding Kittens have been sold worldwide.
