Guardians fight to preserve their essence, the energy of their ancestors, which they can channel and tame through the shrines.
In the game, you become one of the guardians and your goal is to triumph over the others by summoning an army of disciples and destroying the shrines of your opponents.
Choose one of six unique factions and meet your master, a legendary figure selected from the most loyal and talented followers. Join the fight and fulfill your destiny. Which of you will remain the last survivor?

In the game Sanctuary, you will find four types of cards: disciple, master, ritual and shrine.
DISCIPLES are soldiers and creatures that you summon to the battlefield to attack and defend shrines. Many of them also have special abilities.
MASTERS represent the most powerful characters of each faction.
RITUALS can deal direct damage, disrupt enemy formations, or enable strategic maneuvers.
SHRINES represent focal points for directing magical energy. Once they are freed from the limitations of their abilities, their power is manifested throughout the battlefield. Destroying all enemy shrines is a condition for winning the game.
To win, you must destroy all of your opponent's shrines. Once the last opponent's shrine falls, you become the immediate winner.
