The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game gives players the opportunity to assemble a group of adventurers and attempt dangerous quests as they journey through Middle-earth. Heroes from across Middle-earth, from the sun-drenched fields of the Shire to the winding paths of Mirkwood to the mighty kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, must unite to confront the threat of the Dark Lord, Sauron.
The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players, in which players work together to overcome the challenges of each scenario. As part of the Living Card Game®, additional cards and quests will be gradually made available in the future, allowing players to further customize the look of this game set or create their own original decks of cards.
This revised edition is fully compatible with all expansions released to date.
